Terms of Service

The Service is a reference library of screens recorded from publicly available mobile apps, together with metadata such as category, screen counts and estimated revenue and installs. It is offered for research, design reference, education, commentary and internal discussion.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

You may browse the library, save flows in your browser, and share links to any page. You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the library, or use automated means to access it beyond ordinary browsing;
• republish, resell, sublicense or redistribute recorded screens or the library's compiled data as a competing collection or dataset;
• use the content to train or fine-tune machine-learning models without our written permission;
• remove attributions or present recorded screens as your own work;
• interfere with, probe or overload the Service, or try to bypass any access limits;
• submit content that is unlawful, misleading, or that you have no right to submit;
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

Screens, app names, icons, logos and trademarks shown in the library belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in the Service does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners, and we do not grant you any rights in them. Any use you make of third-party material is your responsibility and must comply with the owner's rights and applicable law.

App Store is a trademark of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.

Apart from third-party material, the Service, including its design, text, software, pattern analysis and the selection and arrangement of the library, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service as described here; all other rights are reserved.

When you submit an app or send feedback, you confirm the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use it to operate and improve the Service. We decide at our discretion which apps to record and are not obliged to record any submission.

If you own or represent an app in the library and want a recording corrected or removed, or you believe material in the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@onboarding.company with:

• your name, organisation and contact details;
• the page URL(s) concerned;
• the right you hold or represent, and why the material should be changed or removed;
• a statement that the information in your request is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder.

We review every request promptly and act on valid ones, including by removing material.

Revenue, install and similar figures are estimates derived from public signals. They are not reported by the app makers, may be inaccurate or out of date, and are not financial, investment or professional advice. Recordings reflect an app at the time it was recorded and may differ from what users see today.

The Service links to third-party sites such as the App Store and Google Play, and to Onset, our separate product, which has its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services, and your use of them is governed by their terms.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or end your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those on our content, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Onboarding Company is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice on the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
